Multi-Purpose Sports and Entertainment Stadium

3.1 million square feet

SoFi Stadium is one of the most advanced sports and entertainment venues in the world — a massive, open-air NFL stadium with a translucent roof, sunken seating bowl, and integrated digital display systems. As the home to the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, the structure was designed to host events at an unprecedented scale while delivering a unique indoor-outdoor experience.

The stadium’s complex geometry — especially the curving canopy and segmented concourse layouts — presented a major challenge in terms of façade and envelope detailing. Its scale and visibility required absolute precision in documentation and coordination.

Ananta’s involvement focused on producing all glass-related architectural drawings and engineering documentation. This included system detailing, material schedules, and product selection for glazing elements throughout the stadium — from railing systems and storefront entrances to expansive curtain wall segments along the concourses.

Our team coordinated closely with the construction and design leads to meet strict California energy codes, seismic tolerances, and timeline requirements for submittals. Given the unique shapes and sequencing needs of this project, our work contributed to minimizing rework and ensuring precise fabrication.

SoFi's demanding geometry made traditional submittal workflows inadequate — requiring intense collaboration and clean, buildable documents from day one.
